Ruostuneet Satelliitit (The Rusted Satellites) is an improvisational guitar-duo and a collective project of two individuals, who found themselves with too much spare time and decided to pull themselves together - for the sake of musical entertainment. Their music is characterized by different kinds of crossover influences over jazz-progressions and completely improvised leads with the hint of always listening to each others. All the original harmonies are primarily composed by Mr. Grönroos, while the eccentric lines played over them are handled my Mr. Lehtonen. Their setlists also includes reworking on different jazz-standards and popsongs, always cultivating them further on. Occasionally these two gentleman work with the help of midi-backing-tracks and their freelance musician friends, but usually they just challenge each others to react on sudden impulses and eradicate the term of playing "wrong notes".
