Formed in the late 1990’s in Tampa, FL, Runnin Amok consisted of Patch (lead guitar, lead vocals), Lara (guitar, back-up vocals), Jared (bass, back-up vocals), and Ed (drums, back-up vocals). Disbanded far to soon, “Streets Tonight” was the only track to be released. However, several songs were recorded and submitted to Radical Records for the “East Coast of Oi” compilation. Perhaps the tracks may re-surface and reignite what could have been great Florida Oi! When the Tampa Mutiny soccer club formed in 1996, the city clearly needed an Oi band…Runnin Amok was born amongst the chaos that plagued the bay area. Formed from 2 S.H.A.R.P., 1 R.A.S.H., and 1 Rude Boy, Runnin Amok was the only anti-racist oi band in the Tampa area.
