Often credited as the founder of punk rock, Ruben The Understander came onto the scene in 2011 with his underground debut single “I Hate School”, though only a child , Ruben has been credited as starting the punk rock movement inspiring bands like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, NOFX and Operation Ivy. Ruben’s criticism of capitalism, consumerism, establishment have shaped the punk rock world as well as not selling out making him one of the only true punks.
