(The artist formerly known as Rosa Parks' Private Bus Seat) (TAFKARPPBS) ROZA PARKS sounds like Ian Curtis kissing PJ Harvey on the mouth at the school prom, while Foals is rocking the place with a DAF cover. You'll have to imagine the baffled faces of the R&B-expecting crowd yourself. Peer, Belgium doesn't seem to be the breeding ground for darkhorse bands, but don't tell these guys that. They will relentlessly throw their dark brew of shoegaze and itchy grooves at you. After releasing an ep in July 2011, the band recorded its first album with producer Mario Goossens (drums in Triggerfinger, producer of The Black Box Revelation, Steak Number Eight,..) from june till august 2012. Mixing was done by Greg Gordon in L.A., mastering by Fred Kevorkian in N.Y. Release 15th of april 2013 on PoorRabbitRecords / V2benelux!
