Royal Hi-Fi was founded in Prague, Czech Republic around 2004 after former sound Bashment Pirates had split up. We decided to continue as strictly reggae sound which still believes in the traditional message. We try to keep the fire pure and clean. Our selection includes just the finest tunes from reggae foundation to reggae presence. Mighty Lemon (selector) is one of the long time Czech reggae scene keepers, organising reggae festivals from the 90s. The legendary Time to Seed festival (co-organised by Oneheartman) has invited people like Disciples, Vibronics, King Shiloh and King Kong amongst the others. His selection is heavily based on foundation sound. Although he is a real lovers rock specialist, he plays conscious reggae and classic dancehall with a style. Syncro (selector) is a founder of the first Czech reggae and dub label GunJah Records (since 1997) and was the first one in Czech Republic to produce and press reggae 45s. Working with international musicians from Jamaica, Trinidad, Gambia or Martinique he started to dive deeper and deeper into the reggae vibe. He is also organising regular reggae dances (with a significant help of Kakao Jr.) in his hometown Karlovy Vary.
