http://rotherwood.bandcamp.com download music free. Rotherwood are an independent duo from Cape Breton, NS, Canada, consisting of Peter MacInnis and Jason Gillis. Both from musical backgrounds, they met at a young age playing hockey and attending Dalbrae High School. It wasn’t until they discovered that they were neighbors in Halifax, that they started playing music together. Soon they were performing in the surrounding area at local pubs and events. Now, Peter works as a Primary school teacher in London and Jason as a site manager in Halifax. They still manage to record songs on low-fi equipment (one mic and a laptop) sometimes sending the songs back and forth through email over the Atlantic Ocean. They just finished releasing their second album, Broken City Stone, which is more rock and roll then their debut indie-folk album, Lonely Lights of London.
