Originally from the highlands of Inverness, he discovered his love for singing at a very young age. Starting off by writing and performing songs with friends at the age of ten in the school playground and at parties, people soon knew he had dreams of working with music. He gained experience in performing in front of crowds when he took part in the "Gang Show '97" at Eden Court in Inverness, and various school performances such as talent shows and pantomimes. In 2003, he joined a weekend theatre school to gain more experience and to gain confidence in performing, where he was cast in one of the lead roles in an excert of the popular musical, "Blood Brothers." Upon leaving school, Ross moved to Perth to study NQ Music at the UHI Millennium Institute, and has since progressed to BA (Hons) Popular Music Performance. After completing this degree, Ross will be looking to widen his experience and concentrate on writing original material with other musicians. Through college, he has gained more experience as a performer through playing in college bands where he has received positive feedback about his original songs and his energetic on-stage performance.
