Rosie Sutherland has a band called Rosie and The Thorns. She recorded a solo EP called Crazy Talk with the same band members. In 2008 Rosie sang with The Brown Birds from Windy Hill at Splendour in the Grass and was a Toyota Star Maker finalist at Tamworth Country Music Festival. Rosie Sutherland first came to light in the mid-nineties as the female voice of Andrew Kidman's The Val Dusty Experiment and the double-album soundtrack for their classic surf film 'Litmus' in 1996. They recorded a further album 'Pissing in The Wind' in 1999 and Rosie provided vocals on Andrew Kidman's solo album 'The Spaces in Between', used for his film 'Glass Love'. She lives on the north coast of New South Wales in Australia with her husband Mark Sutherland and their three girls.
