Rosemary Ashe (born 28 March 1953) is an English stage actress and classically trained opera singer. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music and the London Opera Centre. Her wealth of theatre roles include "Carlotta" in the original London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, "Felicia Gabriel" in The Witches of Eastwick at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, "Miss Andrew" in the original London production of Mary Poppins opposite Laura Michelle Kelly, "Madame Thenardier" in Les Misérables, Yum Yum in The Metropolitan Mikado, Widow Corney in Oliver! at the London Palladium, "The Beggar Woman" in a concert version of Sweeney Todd alongside Bryn Terfel and Philip Quast at London's Royal Festival Hall. Ashe earned an Olivier Award nomination for her role in "The Witches of Eastwick". In 2004 she recorded a song for the CD Weird & Wonderful - A Collection Of Songs by Alexander S. Bermange celebrating weirdos and weirdness, featuring sixteen West End stars (released on Dress Circle Records).
