In May 2011 the first Bulgarian reggae label Roots Rocket present their eponymous and renewed format of Root Souljah – ROOTS ROCKET BAND. The performers from the first Bulgarian reggae band have had tours in Romania, Slovakia, Greece and Macedonia, as well as concerts in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. The last live performance of Roots Rocket Band before Elevation 2012 was at Trenchtown Festival in Serbia, where the band declared its presence on the European reggae stage, receiving the audience’s admirations and lots of invitations for more festivals abroad. The original groove and positive messages, complemented by fascinating brass section of the band are the elements of their successful music mission. Amongst the 11-member group of Roots Rocket Band are the vocalists Sen I, Zafayah and Jahmmi Youth, who have had collaborative concert performances with reggae artists like Mad Professor, Macka B & Roots Ragga Band, Jahcoustix, Ras Zacharri, King Ali Baba, Deadly Hunta, Percy Dread, Ras Daniel Ray, Solo Banton, YT, Webcam Hi-Fi... At ELEVATION 2012 the band will be joined by the new faces in Roots Rocket - Bibi Youth and VoLion.
