Ronald Coleman Speeks (born Ronald William Speaks) was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 8, 1938 to Jesse and Ella Mae Speaks. Ronnie Speeks or Ronnie Speeks & The Elrods is the name that the fans have always known. He left Knoxville, Tennessee to go to New York in 1960 and remained there until 1964. He had a varied music career that took him country wide. He performed from 1960 though most of the the 1980's. He is best known for his years of doing a Tribute to Elvis show.
