Ronald Bruce Rogers (born November 5, 1952), better known as Ron Rogers or Ronnie Rogers, is a songwriter, recording artist and record producer from New York City. He broke on to the scene in 1979, performing on and co-producing the Gichy Dan's Beachwood #9 album masterminded by August Darnell. Later that year Don Armando took his song Deputy of Love to #1 on the Billboard Dance chart. He continued to be involved with the disco-not-disco scene (ZE Records, Aural Exciters, Kid Creole And The Coconuts, etc.) as a songwriter, producer, and performer through the mid-90s, including releasing Don't Play With My Emotions under his own name in 1982.
