Rome Is Not a Town is a four piece post-punk band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Formed in 2014, the band (anchored by members including Kajsa Poidnak, Susanna Brandin, Caroline Kabat, and Emma Wättring) quickly made a name for themselves with their fuzzy, angular guitars, restless energy, and sharp, unfiltered lyrics. Blending '90s alternative rock, post-punk, and noisy indie attitude, they debuted with the single “Stupid” in 2015 and released their acclaimed first full-length It's a Dare in 2017. After years of releases including Tender Arms Power Heels (2022), the band returned in 2026 with the powerful new album Echoes of Love on Spirit Spirit — proving their restless, uncompromising sound is stronger than ever.
