Romance for～ was a visual kei rock band formed in August 1994 in Nagoya, Japan. The band's name was chosen by 清春 (Kiyoharu) from 黒夢 (Kuroyume). Their first lineup consisted of Yuu Izumi on vocals, Kaie Yagami and KAZ on guitar, Jitsuji Hasegawa on bass and Shoji on drums. In 1995 Kaie left the band to join WITH SEXY and around the same time drummer Shoji left as well but was replaced by support drummer Takaya Yamamoto in November, who became an official member in March of the following year. From now on the line-up of the band consisted of three members which remained unchanged until the end. The band was signed to KAIKI's Nagoya-based indie label "noir" around 1995-1996, on which they released their first single "Garden". In December 1996 they had their first major label release with the album "Memories". After a few more singles and another album, Romance for～ disbanded in December 1999.
