Romy, born in NYC in 1984 is a very talented young man who is on the come up and waiting for his time to shine. Born in New York, Romy traveled extensively to his parent's native Dominican Republic, where he was captivated by rhythms and sounds of merengue, bachata, salsa, hip-hop R&B and reggae beats. These lively sounds inspired Romy to experiment and eventually he developed a sound of his own. Very young, on the advice of his parents, he traveled back to New York to attend highschool never loosing sight of his passion for music. Since then he has continued to work musically with no signs of slowing down. This is only the begining... Romy 'El Arkitecto' has just begun and is sure to make a name for himself in the years to come!
