RohanRohan Kymal is a young singer, musician and actor based in New York. Though Rohan has been singing and playing musical instruments since he was 6 years old, his interest in the theatrical arts blossomed only in his junior year in high school. He went on to attend the prestigious NYU/Tisch/CAP21 (Musical Theater Conservatory and Theater Company) program majoring in theater with a minor in entertainment business. Rohan graduated from NYU in the Spring of 2011 and is currently signed with the highly respectable talent agency, Henderson Hogan who represents actors in the film, television and theatrical industries. Rohan has been described as a tenor and has a natural ability to sing a variety of different music styles. He started at the age of 6, singing bhajans at (spiritual leader and world renowned humanitarian from India) “Amma”, Mata Amritanandamayi’s programs in the US. He has since gone on to explore creative sides of contemporary rock, pop and musical theater pieces. Rohan’s latest recording of a mashup cover featuring a popular Bollywood song with a contemporary pop number with Brendan Sussens-Jackson and Dan Crowley was produced by Shanker Tucker and recorded at the Motel Room Studios in New York City. The song was posted on You Tube, and has received an unprecedented amount of hits from around the world.
