There are at least two or three different artists called Roger Young. Feel free to add information for the others... 1. Roger Young is a moniker used by Roger Fennings, who was a bit of a guitar hero in the British rock scene of the 1960s. He played with his first band The Druids at the age of fifteen and would later join Steve Marriott (of Small Faces fame) in his band Marriott's Moments. Later Roger would also play with David Jones (before he changed his surname to Bowie) and enjoy three Top 20 hits as lead guitarist in The Coronets. All of that was under the name Roger Fennings, but in the latter half of the 1960s he decided to focus on his own music, releasing two singles for Columbia, the first one of which was 'Sweet Sweet Morning' in 1966. In 1972 he wrote and recorded the theme music for a TV documentary about stock car racing and while the film enjoyed international success, the music was never released...until Cherry Red Records released Fast Circles as a digital EP for download only. The EP includes a fast and slow version of the track along with Roger's previously unreleased third single 'Boston', plus a bonus track called 'Sunshine Moonshine'.
