about

Roel Felius was born in Halsteren, Noord-Brabant in the Netherlands on October 25, 1988. He was chosen to represent the Netherlands in the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen and he reached the 11th place out of 16 participants. Musicians Paskal Jakobsen (from a popular Dutch band, Bløf) and Jeroen Rietbergen produced the song "Mijn ogen zeggen alles" (My Eyes Say Everything). The song is about Dick van der Heijde, who has been totally paralysed by a stroke. He can only move his left eye and uses it to communicate. He even 'wrote' a book using this method: He blinked, his wife wrote down the words. Roel also dubbed the voice for the main character in the Dutch version of the film Good Boy!.
