Rob Brereton

Rob Brereton was born and raised in New York City. He is considered one of the pioneers in contemporary mountain dulcimer playing. Rob was one of the first dulcimer players to arrange extensively in alternate tunings on the dulcimer. Although Rob is most known for playing standards and early jazz tunes on this three stringed instrument, he is equally adept at playing the more traditional styles and dulcimer repertoire.
