Rob Anthony Dire is a singer, songwriter, musician & producer. He has been playing instruments, singing and writing music since childhood. After many years of forming and playing with several bands in the Boston area that led to the typical creative disagreements and varying degrees of commitment amongst band members, Rob decided to work as a solo artist. He packed his things and moved to San Francisco, which was an inspirational experience. This current collection of songs entitled, "Grandeur Of Delusions," was written and recorded over the past several years, with an unplanned hiatus in the midst of the project as he recovered from the loss of an eardrum and underwent 6 reconstructive surgeries before he was able to produce and mix again. He is currently living in Florida, a place he hopes to leave in the near future. His music has been described as "intelligent, eclectic, classic, yet modern." Rob hates to define his own work and put himself in a specific genre, but fans of classic rock, alternative and brit-rock will like his style.
