Roadstar is a hard rock band from London, England. Formerly known as Hurricane Party, they changed their name after a series of hurricane's in the US that culminated in the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina. Under the name Hurricane Party, they released the "Get This!" EP in 2005. On May 29th, 2006, they released their debut album, "Grand Hotel" (under the name Roadstar), in the UK. Roadstar toured with The Answer on the "Let the good times roll" tour from October till November, playing a total of 23 shows." April 16th 2007 brought about the band's 2nd album, Glass Mountain, which was released on the band's own Magic Hat label, despite being generally regarded as being a much better album than the first it did not get any promotion from the band and management. Roadstar is made up of 5 band members: Richie Heavanz - Vocals Jonny Rocker - Guitar Andy Young - Lead Guitar Rob Randell - Bass Chris Rivers - Drums On Tuesday 24th April the band released this message: Hi everyone, Due to circumstances beyond our control, all of us have decided to leave Roadstar behind.
