River Cow Orchestra is a spontaneous music ensemble. They specialize in what they call, "Zen Jazz". Their create music compositions on the spot without written music or rehearsals. They compose music spontaneously as an entire ensemble. At each live performance the audience and the musicians do not know what will happen. They create new music at every show, an in-the-moment voyage of hair raising group improvisation. It is a spiritual and metaphysical journey through time and it celebrates music of the moment. River Cow Orchestra dares to step into the unknown and 'set the music free'. They refer to their music ensemble as '21st century jazz collaborators'.
