There are multiple artists named Rituals: 1) Rituals is a doomy post-metal band from Phoenix, Arizona featuring members of Hella Mounds. Rituals played shows with the likes of Agalloch, Thou, Mournful Congregation The Body, The Atlas Moth, Aldebaran, Whitehorse, YOB, Dark Castle, as well as Alpinist and Masakari. Rituals released their self-titled debut via Alerta Antifascista Records in Europe and Replenish Records in the U.S. on March 20th, 2012. A split LP with Dezafra Ridge was released on Alerta Antifascista Records in the summer of 2012. 2) Rituals is a black metal band from the U.S. A very limited demo tape was released only to a tight circle of worshipers. 3) Rituals is a metal band from Newcastle, UK. 4) Rituals was based out of the 808 in Tacoma for much of 08-09. He brought Matt Bourassa (Sailboats are White) whose sludge punk chords helped bring the band international attention as well as Polaris prize winning producer Leon Taheny, (Dusted, Germans).
