Riske was an Haitian band out of Haiti playing Konpa. They were the first all-woman Konpa band and were quite famous despite the odds staked against them in an industry ruled by men. They released an album back in the early 90s called "Alfabe" that was very successful. Despite their popularity, the band dismantled in the late 90s, due to internal conflict.
