Rising Insane is a metalcore band hailing from Ganderkesee, near Bremen, Germany. The current lineup of Rising Insane includes Aaron Steineker on vocals, Florian Köchy on vocals and guitar, Sven Polizuk on guitar, Ulf Hedenkamp on bass, and Robert Kühling on drums. Helge Dannebaum was a former guitarist who was part of the band until 2013. The band was formed in 2012, and before their debut album's release, Rising Insane established themselves in the German metal scene by founding the Springsane Festival, providing them with valuable connections. Their debut album, "Nation," was released in 2017. In late 2018, the band embarked on a tour of Germany and Austria alongside their friends from the band Annisokay. The following year, Rising Insane caught the attention of the jury at the "Next Generation" band competition and earned a spot to perform at the Impericon Festival. Their second album, "Porcelain," was released at the end of 2019 under the label Long Branch Records. Vocalist Aaron Steineker explores personal themes on this album, including the loss of his sister and post-traumatic stress. They won the Jury Prize at the Impericon Next Generation competition in the same year, leading to a performance at the Impericon Festival in Leipzig. The band's plans for their first major headlining tour in 2020 were derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
