Ringelblum is a young band from Eeklo, Belgium. Featuring Pieter De Busschere (vocals, guitar, synths), Gilles De Moor (vocals, guitar), Koerian Verbesselt (bass guitar) and Bert De Busschere (drums), they bring us a refreshing take on indie/alternative. While they list The Strokes, The Velvet Underground and The National as influences, they do their own distinct thing. After forming in late 2011 and writing a few songs, they quickly went on to win Cirque Constance Roadshow, a local music competition. They then performed on the Cirque Constance Festival and Herbakkersfestival, and recorded a demo with the studio time they won. Most of their songs are freely available on the band's SoundCloud page [1]. They do not have an offcial site yet, but they are reasonably active on their facebookpage [2].
