about

"Few have truly harnessed the almighty power of metal quite like the rugged hard-working people of Finland who, despite having to live such harsh winters for months on end, have managed to conquer all before them with their true understanding of the power of the riff. However, with great music comes great responsibility, a lesson passed down for generations among the hard working folk of Finland. Riff Worship is a testament to the struggles, triumphs, and craftsmanship of the people of Finland, Minnesota, and thus is worthy of all the praise it gets. Riff Worship is the internet collaboration between two enigmatic deities Otu and Dale (collectively referred to by us mere mortals as ‘the rifflords’) after they came to the unfortunate realization that not enough people were being crushed under the weight of their heaviness. They went on to forge some of the most soul-crushingly heavy riffs ever to have crushed soul. Whether it was due to a lack of goat-sacrifices or due to the sudden revival of scene bands we do not know. What is known however is that they decided to respond to the crisis, which lead to their debut self-titled EP." -Benjamin Thorenburger for SputnikMusic.com, 2014 User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
