Rickey Calloway, Born in Jacksonville Florida January 8, 1953 Started performing in local clubs at the age of 13. I produced my first 45 single by the time I was 17. A song called {Tell me} The song landed me a long stay in Miami Florida Where I got a chance to perform with artist like Joe Tex , William Bell, The Chilites, Frank Williams, Johnny Taylor. I recieved pointers in my career from the God Father of Soul The Late Great James Brown. By the early 70s I was on the road taking the Rickey Calloway Review from the city of Ohio to Keywest, I also landed a deal with Camaro Records in Memphis Tenn. Calloway is also a funky Rhythem Guitar player. He also writes and arrange his own music. I signed a recording contract 5 years ago with Kay-Dee Records and is currently working on my first album. Rickey Calloway is very proud of his New release: {Shed a Tear} on the Kay-Dee Comp 2 song # 17 out now.
