Ricky "Riik" Bennett is a shy yet creative amateur piano/keyboard player from Stockport, England. He composes instrumental pieces in his spare time. Ricky composes music for two major reasons. Firstly, to express himself in ways he finds difficult to put into words, and secondly, to give something back to the world for everything that he has been given. His main style of composing is experimenting with synth and piano and creating music with an atmospheric touch. Ricky originally started out with a small portable keyboard at around the age of 5 or so, where he composed his first ever simple melody (which was later incorporated into one of his music tracks, although perhaps not noticably.), consisting of a few notes adjacent to each other on the keyboard. Around that time, he also started learning to play the cornet, but lost interest due to too much absence from his brass teacher. Later, he then progressed to a larger keyboard when he was around nine years old. A year or so later, he then took guitar lessons, but never persued this instrument further, and thus lost what little practice he had aquired with said instrument. Within the next seven years, Ricky became very fond of the keyboard as an instrument and used his natural ablilty and self-taught skills to reach a level that made it possible for him to gain a GCSE in music.
