Artist
Two giants of British folk-rock, and also long-time collaborators produced one album together per se, aside from frequenting each other's albums. 1997's "Industry" is a concept album looking at the British industrial revolution and how it's evolved into modern times. With Richard's sometime hard-rock, sometime ballady guitar put aside from more jazz-based sounds, Danny's double bass takes more of a lead. Danny's own background as a jazz player and label owner lays a solid foundation for the record's jazzy feel and rich instrumentation. The album was not intended to be a big seller, merely an interesting diversion and historical music journey. It achieved high praise from fans and critics, although there are few live requests for its songs.
