Described as "One to watch" by his peers, Richard is an exponent of the new age of vocational music courses available in the UK. Richard studied the HND in Popular Music at Oxford College before moving to Bath, UK where he studied the widely renowned Commercial Music Degree at Bath Spa University. Whilst studying in Bath, Richard setup Bath Guitar School, which now accommodates over 30 guitar students. Richard's guitar and teaching ability has caught the attention of many within the music industry. Along side teaching privately Richard also teaches for the International Guitar Festival [2005/06] and in 2007 became an IGF faculty member. As well as becoming a respected educator Richard is also an active performer. His most notable musical projects include; R&B Soul Band – Groove Movement, Rock Band – Five Mile Drive and Richard currently performs in the Bath Guitar Duo with award winning acoustic guitarist Stuart Ryan. Richard has also written and recorded numerous tracks for the media, computer games and ring tones.
