Artist
Richard Love (real Name Richard Frederick Dearlove) was born in London in the 1920s. He came from a musical family and was a 'self-taught' musician who could play a variety of instruments. He eventually settled on the piano-accordion and was an accomplished practioner playing in a number of small bands in the 60s and 70s before becoming a solo artist and eventually turning his hand to the keyboards. He became a very popular entertainer in the local clubs in and around Southampton. He (self) recorded a number of albums which he published amongst his own local fan base. Richard played mostly covers in the 'easy-listening/dance' genre but also composed music and wrote Morning which is on several of his compilations.
