Grew up in the Phila., Penna. area. Has lived on Cape Cod since 1974. Early musical influences include Hank Williams, Roger Miller, Bob Dylan, Motown, Blues in all its forms, especially B.B. King, The Beatles, the Stones, John Pryne, Little Feat, Dr. John. Later influences; Outlaw country, traditional fiddle tunes from the British Isles and the American south including Cajun, Oldtimey, Bluegrass and Appalachian styles. Richard has been building violins since 1999.
