Artist
Riccardo Castagnetti was born in Modena. He was granted a first class diploma in Organ and Organ Composition at Parma Conservatory under Stefano Innocenti, as well as a degree at Bologna University with a thesis on the Relationship between Music and Philosophy. He has attended courses on organ interpretation held by Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, William Porter and Christopher Stembridge, and others on improvisation held by Fausto Caporali, Liuwe Tamminga and Jürgen Essl. His works include compositions for the organ and harpsichord, chamber music and music for the theatre.
