Ribbons Patterns are an Australian folk rock collective from Melbourne, Victoria. The band is the brainchild of former Blueline Medic guitarist/vocalist Donnie Dureau, who is the only constant member of the band. He formed the group in 2009, and featured a rotating collective of Melbourne musicians in the project. The band released their first - and, to date, only - studio album in 2010, which was self titled. The line-up for this album included Jamie Hay, Jim Morris, Simon Tait, Matt Ryan, Kylie Ryan and Rebecca Martin. After an extended hiatus, Ribbons Patterns returned to performing live in 2012, once again featuring a revolving-door lineup.
