i grew up the daughter of a preacher, singing in the church choir and listening to everything from sandi patti to the eagles to they might be giants to kathleen battle. i went to school and studied classical music and as much as i love mozart and his requiem, i love joni and her dulcimer more. music is powerful. music is lasting. vita brevis, ars longa as they say... so i write and hope to make something good... something worth being remembered. i try to introduce new music into my life whenever possible and just soak in the things that i love. i play the guitar. i write what i know and long to write what i don't yet know. i am trying to be better. at music. at life.
