Rev.Raikes was created when Kris Raikes started the column "Strangewaves" in an indie newspaper called Vigilance during 2001. He had been trying to create music for years with crappy Tascam recorders and second-hand samplers. He became digitally proficient in the early double-aughts and computers opened up a whole new world, musically and video-graphically. Music is a passion, having created most of it under the Strangewaves moniker, but most of his time has been taken up by blogging, graphic/web design, video work, and general digi.literacy promulgation. He makes his music free to the world because he believes that art feeds the soul and should be shared.
