Reuben Taylor lives and works in Edinburgh. He suffered the swings and roundabouts of a classical musical education, before giving it up and playing organ in a loud and complex band called Huckleberry. Other band members included James Yorkston and Vic Galloway. It was fun for a while, but he got sick of lifting his organ up the spiral staircase to the practice room and left. He now plays with James Yorkston and the Athletes, and Deaf Mutes (with Vic Galloway). And he's trying to put that classical education to some use at last.
