Renard (Which is french for fox) is an alias of canadian music artist Em Essex created in 2005 and under the current HALLEY LABS label. He is a fox-raccoon hybrid who while doesn't have a physical sex, identifies as male. Renard produces various genres, but mainly raggacore, mashcore, and breakcore, often with noise influences and samples from varying media, mainly music. In the past, he has produced other genres such as ambient and noise before Aurastys and deuteronomy were created. Renard existed as Em's second main fursona for a decade before switching to Em essex and deuteronomy in 2017.
