Prehistory Born in 1975 in a Dutch town called Nunspeet, amidst the splendour of National Park "Hoge Veluwe". Spent a happy childhood and adolescence in nearby Ermelo. Living in Utrecht since 2001 and working in Amsterdam as a graphical designer and photographer. Studies Reinier Bergsma studied Film & Photography, improving his skills technically and theoretically. In the meantime got hooked on Apple computers. Photography and computers proved an enticing combination, digital photography and art a new challenge. A new passion too, fully developed at the Utrecht School of Arts, where Reinier graduated as a Bachelor of Digital Media Design in 2003. Concepting, designing, interfacing, and typography (mostly for Internet) still is Reinier’s bread and butter. Music As the youngest of three brothers, Reinier at a young age was introduced to a wide variety of music, including acts like Scritti Politti, Duran Duran, INXS, Prince, SOS band, DAF, Front 242, Depeche Mode, The Art of Noise, Jean Michel Jarre. Reinier was also educated by influential Dutch radioshows like "For those Who like to Groove" (host: Robin Aalbers), "Crapule DeLuxe" (VPRO), "Dance Department" (host: Wessel van Diepen) and the illegally broadcast "Radio XTC" shows. Reinier entered the wonderful world of electronic and house music. Growing from attentive to creative, Reinier started making his own mixtapes in 1989.
