Originally formed in 2005, Redline Addiction completed its current line-up in June 2007. Shortly thereafter, Redline Addiction was signed to upstart label Counterpoint Records LLC. This sound can be heard on the band’s first full-length album, Goodbye Miss Dolly (2008), which has been described as “full of energy” (“Redline Addiction, XXQs,” Penseyeview.com, April 11, 2008). In November 2009, the band released St. Elmo’s Four - a collection of four hook-laden songs showcasing the band’s dynamic range. Redline Addiction is currently recording two full-length records as a follow-up to Goodbye Miss Dolly. One is more acoustic-based; the other is heavier hitting. Both are expected to be released in the coming months. Redline Addiction continues to build on its local support by playing various venues in the D.C. greater metropolitan area, and is expanding its influence throughout the East Coast.
