Redbird Fever is an American indie rock band based out of western Washington state. Ralph Hogaboom (guitar, vocals, glockenspiel) and Jay Wainman (violin, vocals, melodyhorn) combine quirky pop sensibilities with a lean toward experimentation to create a sound uniquely there own. Spiraling violin and vocal melodies offset looped, angular guitar riffs and dynamic lyrics about loss, heartache, and alienation. Their first release is the self-released EP Come Away From Your Home, recorded at Seattle’s Egg Studios/PopLlama Records by reknowned engineer Conrad Uno. Featuring six tracks and clocking in at 13 minutes, Come Away From Your Home is a surprising trip through love and heartbreak.
