Red Man K was one of many aliases of the Danish/Faroese experimental musician Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester, better known as Goodiepal. He first appeared as "Red Mank K" on the '95 Future Trance Trax: A Time Traveling Experience CD compilation released by US label Hypnotic. Kristian co-wrote and produced the 'Will O' The Wisp' track with German electronic musician Torben Schmidt and Danish rock guitarist and new age/ambient producer Lars Alsing. Vester also contributed one track under his Circulation Of Events alias to the same compilation. In May 1996, Red Man K (now spelled correctly) appeared on Hypnotic for the second time, with the same composition on The Ambient Way To Dub CD. In 2013, Goodiepal released his debut album on the Austrian label Editions Mego. It was titled Red Man K's Bedrifter, revisiting the old moniker. The fourth side of Red Man K's 2xLP package was hand-etched with a lengthy letter addressed to eMEGO's director and owner Peter Rehberg, featuring Vester's iconic "Goodiepal Equation" for the first time: "The further a message has to travel over space and time, the more value can you add to its content."
