Red Camp (1909-1987) was a well known jazz pianist in Texas, having played with Bob Crosby, Jack Teagarden, Paul Whitman, Mugsy Spanier, Miff Mole, and Pee Wee Russell. βRedβ had his own TV and radio program in the 70βs where he taught jazz history and technique, and his 11 LPs can be found on the Smithsonian web site in the FolkWays collection Red Camp was heavily influenced by Earl Hines User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
