Rebecca Jenkins (born 1959) is a Canadian singer and actress. As a singer Rebecca has toured and recorded as a back-up vocalist with the Parachute Club and Jane Siberry. Rebecca still continues to perform jazz material and her own songs in numerous contexts - before symphony orchestras, concert halls and clubs, on radio and television shows, at music festivals, on compilation albums and film soundtracks. She was recently nominated for a Genie Award for Achievement in Music - Best Song for "Something's Coming" in the feature film Wilby Wonderful. In 2007, she released her first solo album, a collection of jazz standards. Her husband, Joel Bakan, an jazz guitarist, accompanied her as well as Al Matheson on trumpet and Liam Macdonald on drums and percussion.
