RESEQUENCE aka Dima Anikin is from Saint Petersburg in Russia and he does a solo music project. Dmitriy plays smooth electronic jazz with lots of supplementary elements. Like most of Hitchcock’s and Melville’s movie pictures, the subject and composition, the hero and decorations are reduced to upmost simplicity. The clarity of feelings, reiteration of the same things exist as a guarantee of different stories existence. Re’sequence’s music sounds almost something you would hear from the label «Ninja Tune». You can hear the likes of Amon Tobin, Jaga Jazzist, and Skapel with trip hop beats and a chilled out atmosphere to go with it. Dmitriy does play live and sometimes performs live in art shows, and one of his last shows, he performed a soundtrack to people acting out a drama characterized by mimic gestures and actions without words.
