Re:NO (Rino Nikaido) is a singer and model from Tokyo. She started her career in 2001 with the duo Suitei Shoujo along another girl named Lissa (Risa Abe) with mild success. They split in 2006 and since then, Re:NO is working in her soloist music, taking rock influences instead the pop, idol-like songs she used to sing during her teenage and also works as model from KERA magazine. In June 2012, she joined the power metal band Aldious with whom she released 4 albums, 2 EPs, 5 singles and 6 live DVDs. On November 28, 2018, Re:NO announced that she would end her musical activities after consulting a doctor about her Patulous Eustachian Tube. She left Aldious after their concert on December 17th. In February 2022, Re:NO announced the restart of her solo music career, starting with a live show on May 4, 2022 and her single "You go your way" pre-released on May 9 on Apple Music and released a week later on other streaming platforms.
