Razors in the night is an American Oi!/Hardcore band formed in 2009. The band was founded by Troy Schoeller (Vocals), who recruited four friends, Todd Wilson, guitar (ex-BEWARE!), Ian Clark, guitar (ex-Pure Impact), SWID, Bass (Acrobrats), & Randy Tartow, Drums (ex-Archcriminals). Originating from Boston, MA, they have shared the stage with such punk legends as: The Business, Condemned 84, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Casualties, & Resistance '77 to name a few. In September, 2009 they released their debut EP “Carry On!” on their own “Horror Business” record label. The EP was soon reissued by Contra Records, out of Germany February, 2010 on limited edition vinyl and including two previously unreleased songs. In July, 2010, the “Carry On!” EP was, then reissued a second time by 4Subculture Records out of Czech Republic. Following the release of “Carry On!” , which received great domestic and international reviews, The Boston Herald described Razors as "the new vanguards of...Boston hardcore." RITN began to tour across the United States as well as Europe. The band released a split 7” with Boston friends “VAGIANT” in March 2009, and another split 7”with label mates, Strongbow in May, 2011.
