Masako Nakai is a Japanese composer and pianist. She studied modern and classical music in college where she began to create artful arrangements for piano and strings. The world she weaves is full of fantasy and darkness, with an emotional resonance of beauty and noise. She released her debut mini album After The Noise Is Gone in 2012 and has performed live together with Sylvain Chauveau, James Blackshaw and Ulises Conti. Her first full length album The World Left Behind has released in September of 2015 and will include several collaborations with Japanese vocalist Predawn.
