1. Finnish Melodic Metal Band called Rautavaara was formed during the summer of 2005 and consists of - Jarmo Kylmänen (vocals) - Arto Remes (Guitar) - Ari Kotkaranta (Guitar) - Speedy Lahtinen (Bass) - Tuomo Laikari (Drums). During February of 2006 the band entered the studio to record five tracks with Jarmo's younger brother Juha Kylmänen (lead singer with "Reflexion" and "For my pain"). A few months later this became their self- titled debut EP and was released on 10.05.06. This was followed in September 2006 by the filming of their debut music video "Välissä kahden tulen" and the release of their digi- single of the same title. formed 1995 2. Rautavaara took their name from a Phillip K. Dick short story. They released a vinyl dlp named "zombie nitemare in downtown jerusalem " in 1998 followed by the CD "andromeda" on american label Cohort Records 2 years later. Rautavaara also released various tapes and cd-rs over the years , for example: " the mysterious sounds of rautavaara", "haldolica jazz-hell", "passionate drinkers ", "arranged derangements", "the terrible feeling of deja vu" "the music of chance", "splinters" and the highly mysterious "Ikea-Trilogy " , even members of the band are unsure if that one has ever seen the light of day........................ here is a four-step guide to rautavaara: 1.
